ST. CHARLES, IL — Meyers & Flowers is pleased to announce that Salvatore A. Vivirito has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney.
Known for his courtroom experience and thorough preparation, he brings a relentless dedication to advocating for individuals facing life-changing injuries and works tirelessly to ensure his clients feel supported while pursuing the justice and recovery they deserve.
Prior to joining Meyers & Flowers, Salvatore spent years handling personal injury defense litigation in private practice. Having sat on the other side of the aisle, he brings an invaluable perspective on how insurance companies and corporate defendants approach complex claims. Salvatore leverages this insider knowledge to dismantle defense tactics, anticipate opposing strategies, and build ironclad cases on behalf of injured individuals and their families.
Salvatore built a formidable trial foundation earlier in his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Kane County, IL. Managing a diverse caseload across the felony, misdemeanor, and traffic divisions, he litigated more than two dozen jury and non-jury trials to verdict. His prosecution background honed his ability to analyze complex evidence, evaluate liability under high-pressure circumstances, and present compelling, persuasive arguments before judges and juries alike.
Salvatore’s courtroom journey began during law school, where he earned his 711 license as a third-year student and gained hands-on trial preparation experience with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Wanda M. Stokes, gaining crucial insight into judicial decision-making and chamber strategy that continues to inform his litigation style today.
He earned his Juris Doctor with Honors from Cooley Law School, where he was named to the Dean’s List every semester and ranked near the top of his class. Salvatore also holds a Master of Arts from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College. He is admitted to practice before the state courts of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and he remains an active member of the local legal community, including the Kane County Bar Association.
