Prior to entering private practice, Salvatore built a formidable trial foundation as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Kane County, IL. Managing a diverse caseload across the felony, misdemeanor, and traffic divisions, he litigated more than two dozen jury and non-jury trials to verdict. His prosecution background honed his ability to analyze complex evidence, evaluate liability under high-pressure circumstances, and present compelling, persuasive arguments before judges and juries alike.
Salvatore’s courtroom journey began during law school, where he earned his 711 license as a third-year student and gained hands-on trial preparation experience with the Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office. He also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Wanda M. Stokes, gaining crucial insight into judicial decision-making and chamber strategy that continues to inform his litigation style today.
Salvatore graduated with Honors from Cooley Law School, where he made the Dean’s List every semester and ranked near the top of his class. He also holds a Master of Arts from Vermont Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Lake Forest College.
Salvatore is admitted to practice before the state courts of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He remains an active member of the local legal community, including the Kane County Bar Association.
