FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago, Illinois – January 2026 — Meyers & Flowers is proud to announce that Christopher J. Warmbold has been named a partner of the firm. Since joining Meyers & Flowers in the spring of 2022, Attorney Warmbold has distinguished himself as a dedicated advocate for injured clients and a respected leader within the firm, earning this promotion through his legal skills, results, and unwavering commitment to justice.
Inspired by his work as a public defender, Attorney Warmbold has dedicated his civil career to representing individuals who are often marginalized, overlooked, and underrepresented. He concentrates his practice on personal injury matters involving medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, general civil litigation, and appellate advocacy. His reputation as a fierce and effective advocate has been built on standing up to insurance companies that fail or refuse to uphold their obligation to fully compensate those harmed by the negligence of others.
“Chris has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a trial lawyer at Meyers & Flowers,” said Peter Flowers, Founding Partner. “His work ethic, strategic insight, and genuine care for our clients have led to outstanding results. Promoting Chris to partner reflects both his remarkable accomplishments and the trust our clients place in him.”
In just a few years with the firm, Attorney Warmbold has successfully secured several multi-million dollar recoveries on behalf of Meyers & Flowers clients. His notable results include obtaining a $4.91 million settlement for catastrophic injuries sustained in a sledding accident involving an Illinois municipality; a $3.8 million settlement on behalf of plaintiffs asserting violations of the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act; a $3 million settlement for an elderly client who suffered serious injuries after being struck by a school bus; a $2.15 million wrongful death settlement; and an $800,000 jury verdict, including attorney fees and punitive damages, in a wrongful employment termination claim.
In addition to his success as a trial lawyer, Mr. Warmbold brings invaluable appellate experience, regularly challenging adverse rulings and protecting hard-fought victories in the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Second and Third District Appellate Courts and the Illinois Supreme Court. In 2022, he argued before the Illinois Supreme Court in In re Estate of McDonald, successfully advocating for judicial recognition of essential protections for disabled individuals regarding their right to marry. More recently, he returned to the Court to argue a matter of first impression concerning the scope of an Executive Order issued during the COVID-19 pandemic in James v. Geneva Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, LLC.
Attorney Warmbold earned his bachelor’s degree in economics, cum laude, from Northern Illinois University and later returned to NIU to obtain his law degree in 2013. He was licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois that same year.
“I am honored to be named a partner at Meyers & Flowers,” said Attorney Warmbold. “This firm is deeply committed to standing up for people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue advocating for our clients alongside such an exceptional team and to help lead the firm into its next chapter.”
