Meyers & Flowers mentor law students
Recently, Meyers & Flowers attorney, Ryan Theriault, was asked by DePaul University to serve as an alumni mentor to law students in the College of Law’s inaugural mentorship program. The goal of the program is to provide law students with an opportunity to interact with practicing attorneys in the Chicago area, learn about the practice of law, and develop a professional network prior to graduation. “Through this opportunity, I am able to share some of my experiences with those just entering the practice,” Theriault said. “To be able to help shape those starting out is a tremendous honor and responsibility. It is my hope that through my participation, students and new graduates will learn many of the things my mentors taught me – namely, professionalism above all and putting the client first.” The program, a first for the school, continues through the 2013-2014 academic school year.
