Jeffrey T. Theriault, Associate
Attorney Jeffrey T. Theriault believes that connecting with each client is of paramount importance.
Jeff represents clients in real estate transactions, estate planning, commercial litigation, as well as personal and work-related injury claims. He maintains a diverse client portfolio, with a special focus on assisting those that serve our community.
"Clients come to us because they need help; oftentimes, they are overwhelmed with information. I try to distill their complex legal issues into matters they easily understand. I am their advocate and conduit to achieve their goals."

Before legal practice, Jeff’s experience includes employment at a large Chicago suburban police department for twenty-six years. He is an instructor at the College of DuPage-Suburban Law Enforcement Academy, and member of the Board of Trustees for the South Elgin Fire Protection District.
Jeff received his undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University and his law degree from The John Marshall Law School. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.
During law school, Jeff was the recipient of the “CALI Excellence for the Future Award” in Equitable Remedies, and the “Rosenberg Scholarship” for community service. He was honored with the “Impact Award” from the Center for Disability and Elder Law for his work on writing Illinois Senate Bill 3381, which was designed to assist senior citizens with property tax issues.
Jeff’s professional memberships include the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Kane County Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Alliance of Police.
