The area of alternate bearing technology and modular taper junction failure is developing rapidly and for this reason Dr. Phillips has decided to dedicate the majority of his work to this topic and to implants with these problems. Dr. Phillips is not currently accepting non-orthopaedic product liability cases.
Dr. Phillips received his undergraduate degree in Pre-Medicine from Davidson College in 1977 and his MD with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in 1981. He received his law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2005.
Dr. Phillips is admitted to practice before all North Carolina Courts, U.S. District Courts in the Western, Middle and Eastern Districts of North Carolina, and 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.
